OXiNEMS will be present at the 17th international workshop on nanomechanical sensing (www.nmc2021.org) with the poster entitled “Ultrasensitive magnetic field sensing using transition metal oxide resonators”
OXiNEMS is present with a stand on magnetoencephalography at “Super!”, the exhibition on applied superconductivity organized by Cnr-Spin and Cnr-Communication and Public Relations Unit in the framework of The Genoa Science Festival 2020.
On October 29thLucia Varbaro received the Master degree in Physics cum laude from the University of Genova with a thesis entitled “Study of micro-resonators applied to magnetometry”. Congratulations to Lucia!
Call for PhD position at the University of Chieti-Pescara
A call for an OXiNEMS PhD student has been launched at UdA. The topic of the research program is "Methods for the characterization and validation of an innovative device, based on nanoelectromechanical sensors, for the measurement of magnetic fields generated by biological tissues". The PhD student will participate to the project activities and interact with the other partners of the project.
The scholarship is comprised in the multidisciplinary PhD course in Neuroscience and Imaging. The students background should be Physics or Engineering. The scholarship is about 15300 Euro/year including taxes, resulting in about 1100 Euro/month excluding taxes.
